Book review: The Dolls House - M.J Arlidge

Now here's one of my new fave authors!
This book - The Dolls house- is the 3rd in a series of amazing crime thrillers.
They are all following a Detective Inspector Helen Grace and her life in the force trying to solve specific crimes and serial killers that come about in the city of Southampton - UK instead of The posh US for once (definitely not the same!).

This was another of MJs books I could not put down. Amazing amazing. It's always a race against the clock with Helen Grace trying to work out a series of clues and keep the standard day to day issues of life out of the way.. Not to mention her own extra special messed up issues.
I really like MJ Alridges style of writing.. It's extremely consumeable, relateable and interesting. It's never obvious what will happen and who will still be alive to see it at the end. Neither does it focus to much on a certain element, there's a great blend of Helen and her life along with the crime and thrill of it all.
The dolls house was no different. It was an excellent follow up and weaved in previous stories well.
I'm bt going to give too much away except for saying read read read!

I'm already trying to find out when he is releasing his next book. Someone get me an 'I love DI Grace' sticker please!
Until then
